| Our Wealden Oak collection now comes in choice of finishes: OILED FINISH: finish applied by hand, with a positive grain effect achieved. ADVICE: this is not a waterproof finish, it is important to remove spillages immediately with a dry cloth. We also recommend re-oiling the product 3-4 times a year, please contact us for more information and details of our oil finishing products. LACQUERED FINISH: this is a Natural Lacquer, which somewhat retains the natural colour of the oak, items are smoothed by hand using sandpaper than the lacquer is applied during a spraying process. ADVICE: Minimum upkeep is needed, spillages can be removed with a damp cloth, and general household polish will maintain the appearance. UNFINISHED: no finish is applied. PLEASE NOTE: once your own finish has been applied, your item will not be covered by warranty. |
